Well we’re getting right down to it – the end of World Watercolor Month, and I’m still hanging in there. I haven’t posted all my paintings here on this blog, but I do have 28 paintings to my credit so far (I’ve posted on Instagram). Today’s prompt was “Rainbows”, and as beautiful as they are, I just wasn’t feeling very inspired with that topic. But today I went out painting with my Santa Cruz Sketching group to Quail Hollow Ranch and enjoyed this beautiful little spot of God’s creation. Right as I was sitting down by this pond, a Great Blue Heron swept off over the trees! He missed his chance of fame, Ha Ha!! #worldwatercolormonth
