I love how a simple little bouquet can bring such joy. Our son presented me with this nosegay he snatched out of his garden, which he said is a profusion of wildflowers right now. And even though it looks delicate, it survived a trip from Oakland into the San Francisco, an icy plunge into drinking water at the restaurant we were enjoying, and another trip back home to Santa Cruz. It’s lasted here in my studio for several days now, opening and closing with the light – and making me happy.
